LOCATION
We are in the countryside (mainly flat and restful area throughout day and night), close to the sea and the Ria Formosa Natural Park (a unique, protected coastal lagoon and a paradise for birdwatchers). Fuseta's salt pans are 3 km away and the nearest beach is 5 km away (in Fuseta). The nearby towns are Moncarapacho (2,5 km), Olhão (10 km), Tavira (15 km) and Faro (20 km).
GETTING AROUND
East Algarve's public transport does not offer a lot of options. If you're not keen on cycling, renting a car might be necessary.
Nevertheless, there's a coastal train line (connecting towns and villages along the coast) and Fuseta's train station is only a short bike-ride away (3 km).
